How to: Print an active document in Word.
Solution:
Select 'Print' from the 'File' menu and choose 'OK'.
1) (Optional) To print only a selected portion of the active document, select the text to be printed.
2) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Print'. (The print dialog box appears.)
3) (Optional) Select the number of copies from the 'Copies' box to print more than one copy.
4) Select the correct range of pages to be printed. If 'Pages' is chosen, type the page numbers and/or the range of pages in the 'Pages' text box.
EXAMPLE: To print pages 2, 4, and 7 through 10 type: 2,4,7-10.
5) (Optional) To print special information such as summary information, annotations, field codes, etc., with the document, do the following:
a) Click 'Options...'.
b) Select an option from the 'Include with Document' text box.
c) Click 'OK'.
6) (Optional) Select 'Odd Pages' or 'Even Pages' from the 'Print' drop-down list box to print only the odd or even pages.
7) (Optional) Click 'Print to File' check box to print the active document to a file.
